Recent Deaths

We extend our deepest sympathies to Fiona Walsh Gortaclode on the recent loss of her beloved brother Robbie. Robert (Robbie) Sullivan was a resident of Central Avenue, Lisduggan and will be deeply missed by his parents Ann and Robbie, his daughters Kasey and Shauna, his sisters Fiona, Lisa, Susan and Mandy. Robbie’s funeral mass took place in St. Pauls church and we pray that he now rests in gentle peace.
We also send our sympathies to the Maher family in Carrick Road, Portlaw on the recent death of Keith Maher. Many of us here in the Ballyduff and Kilmeaden areas will remember Keith as our local coalman. He was a gentle quiet man who always had time to stop and have a chat with people when he called. He is survived by his wife Eily, hisĀ  sons Pat, Eoin, Seamus, Keith, his daughter Mary ,his grandchildren, brothers Jim, Hugh and Peter and his sister Ann. Keith’s funeral mass took place in St. Patricks church, Portlaw with burial in the adjoining graveyard. We pray that his gentle soul rests in peace.
