New Birth, Birthday Boy and Church News

Cheasty Celebrations

The Cheasty family in Tigroe had plenty to celebrate this week with Rebecca turning 21 on May 23rd and her brother Aaron celebrating his 18th on May 27th. Unfortunately Covid restrictions mean that we are still unable to celebrate in the normal fashion but I have no doubt that the family made sure they had a great time and were spoiled on their special days. We hope that Rebecca and Aaron will have many more birthday celebrations and we wish them both every happiness.

New Birth

I was delighted to hear of the safe arrival of 8 fluffy signets on Knockaderry Lake. Mammy and Daddy are very proud on their new brood. If you are out for a walk why not call by and say congratulations and grab a glimpse of the beautiful new arrivals. I know a certain man will be looking down on his beloved Knockaderry Lake from the heavens with a smile on his face.

Birthday Boy

I would like to use these notes to send very special birthday wishes to John Hearne who is a resident of the city but we have adopted him here in Kilmeaden. Father to the lovely Louise Dooley John spends a lot of time here in Kilmeaden playing with his lovely grandchildren. John celebrated his 70th birthday with his family and I have no doubt that Daragh, Ava, Cathal and Olivia helped him to blow out those candles and even eat the cake. John is a very gifted photographer who is always willing to help out with charity and club events and always so gracious with his time. I wish him many more happy birthdays and was delighted to see him on the other side of the camera for a change.
