SPECIAL VISITOR

It was wonderful to see Fr. Mick O Byrne attend mass in Ballyduff Church on St. Patrick’s Day. Fr. Mick served in the parish of Ballyduff/ Portlaw for over 30 years but in recent times he has been a resident in the Care Choice Home in Dungarvan following a stroke. He receives excellent care there from the wonderful staff but misses the chats and laughs with everyone. His hearing and eyesight have left him down but he still likes to receive a text to hear about what is going on. He welcomes visitors to the home but would like a text to let him know you are coming.

Fr. Mick stayed and chatted after mass for a while and was thrilled to meet so many people. We all wish him well and look forward to another visit soon.
