GAA News

The U10 footballers put in a great game against a very strong Gaultier team and kept themselves in the game right up to the very end. There were some great individual performances but a huge team effort from this bunch.

In the U11 league the curtain came down on the season as the team bowed out to a stronger St. Marys side. Although they were missing a few of their regulars they battled right till the end and finished up mid table in this section. This team has improved immensely this year and they show great promise playing U12 next year.

30 children from our academy section travelled to Kilmacow to take part in a U6/7 blitz. Everyone played well and a great time. A big thank you to the Kilmacow club for their hospitality and their very generous goodie bags.

In the U16 Eastern hurling championship Ballyduff/Portlaw defeated Tramore on a score line of 0-13 to 1-7 in desperate conditions. This was a super display as they head for the County Final. A big well done to all the panel and mentors.

In the U13 schools football championships Ballyduff NS have qualified for the semi final in their group. They had a fine win over a very galiant Fenor team. A special word for Mr.Carey all at the school for faciliting their progress.
