It is wonderful to see everyone out enjoying the good weather. The colourful display in gardens and in parks is heartwarming and the sight of calves, foals and lambs in fields is uplifting. It is important to get out and enjoy these days when we get them and bring our children out to discover the beauty of nature. Why not pay a visit to our community garden as it grows and progresses day by day.

LITTER PICKERS

A big thank you and well done to our local group of litter pickers who do such a tremendous job keeping our area tidy and free of litter. It is up to every individual however to take their own rubbish home with them, there is absolutely no excuse for dumping litter. The Litter Picker Group are a bunch of volunteers who give their time and volunteer to pick up litter which is mostly thrown out of the windows of passing vehicles. It is very easy to have an empty bag in your car to take home your rubbish in.
